If you’ve attended any of our past Pairing Dinners, you know we go all out. Exceptional cuisine that truly showcases the talent of our culinary team, when great food meets great beer, good times shall be had by all.
We will be featuring four courses paired with the perfect beer. Executive Sous Chef Anthony McGinnis designed a menu that will impress, satisfy and excite your palate. The food is paired with beer choices made by PLU Alum Kyle Maxwell who is the Director of Brewing Operations & Marketing for Black Fleet Brewing here in Tacoma.

Bacon, Chanterelle, and Fingerling Hash; Quail Egg, Rosemary, Thyme
Paired with: Hang 2+5+3 Lilikoi Gose – this tart ale will go great with fried food, cutting through richness.
Smoked Trout Chowder with Chive Oil, Rye Croutons
Paired with: Pollywog Oatmeal Pale Ale – crisp & refreshing with delicate hop notes and a mild bitter backbone.
Pan-Seared Venison Chop with Shallot Confit & Cherry-Rosemary Gastrique, Sunchoke Gratin, Charred Caulilini
Paired with: Fire Ship Smoked Red – the richness of the red ale & smoky flavor compliments red meat very well pairs perfectly with charred/grilled veggies.
Pear & Stilton Galette with Black Garlic Honey, Hazelnut Créme Fraîche
Paired with: Coffee Oatmeal Milk Stout – brewed this month, this rich ale will pair wonderfully with a sweet, rich dessert.
